2nd annual · FeedTahoe Fall Food Drive

500 bags = 500 Thanksgiving meals

November 1–30, 2026

Back for its second year, Tahoe's community-wide holiday food drive. Kings Meats is donating 500 turkeys; we fill 500 tote bags with the sides.

wanted: 40–50 local businesses, schools and churches

Volunteers from the 2025 holiday food drive gathered outside under the El Dorado County Sheriff tent

How it works

  1. Grab a FeedTahoe tote bag at a collection site
  2. Spend about $20 filling it from the shopping list
  3. Drop it back in the bin — a volunteer picks it up
  4. Bags go to 15+ local partners with a turkey for Thanksgiving

Last year: 6,000+ lbs collected from 25+ partners in 2025.

Where the bags go: Christmas Cheer All Year, Phoenix Food Pantry, Boys & Girls Club, Family Resource Center, Bread & Broth, Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless, Tahoe Senior Plaza, LTCC pantry and more.
